H-1B六年终点？成功续签又三年！

又到了一周一度的开notice时间。

那这一周我做的案件总共有三四个批件，以及一堆的收件通知。那收件通知里面，包括了家庭移民、包括了转身份申请。这些转身份有可能是从H-1B签证转到了H-4签证，也就是配偶签证。

那我今天想要分享的这个案子其实是一个我们自己的老客户，她其实是已经H-1B超过6年了。这个客户她是从H-1B的initial filing（第一次申请）一直到做绿卡。那她现在绿卡的进度是I-140已经批下来了。

那我们是基于已经批下来的I-140，但是排期没有排到，帮她再次申请了三年的H-1B续签。其实她这次也带了她的先生，也就是她的配偶，一起做了H-4的申请。

那这次她的案子是无补件直批，而且如果没记错，应该是2到3天就批下来了。我们在此也希望她配偶的申请快速审批，成功拿到EAD工卡。

It’s time again for our weekly case update.

This week, the cases I worked on received three to four approvals and a bunch of receipt notices. These receipt notices include family immigration cases and change of status applications. Some of these change of status cases are from H-1B status to H-4 status, which is the spouse visa.

The case I’d like to share with everyone today is actually an old client of ours. This client has already been on H-1B for six years. She has been working with us since her initial H-1B filing, all the way to applying for a green card. Currently, her green card application process has reached the stage where her I-140 application has been approved.

This time, we helped her apply for another three-year H-1B extension based on the approved I-140, even though her priority date has not yet been current. Also, within this application, she included her husband, who is her spouse, to apply for an H-4 visa.

Her case was approved without any request for evidence, and if I remember correctly, it only took two or three days to get approval. We hope that her spouse’s application will also be processed quickly so that he can get his EAD Work Authorization Card.
