澳洲护照专属：E-3签证！

大家好，最近我们律所帮两位澳洲客户获得了 E-3 的签证。

那么我们今天也是借这个视频，想提醒一下，如果你有澳洲护照的话呢，不妨考虑考虑 E-3 签证，因为它是美国对于澳洲护照的一个福利了。

那么 E-3 签证的话呢，它其实跟 H-1B 是非常像的，就是允许你在美国工作，但是有一个前提，就是你得要把你的澳洲护照给移民局，证明你是一个澳洲的公民，就可以了。

那么它的申请条件呢，也跟 H-1B 非常的相似。我们需要首先拿到雇主的 offer。第二个呢，我们需要证明我们这个职位它符合专业性的要求，也就是 specialty occupation 的要求。同时呢，我们的专业是对口的。其实就是一个 H-1B 的翻版。唯一的区别就是，你要有一个澳洲的护照。

那么 E-3 签证的话呢，它每次是给两年的，那如果我们的这个工作是一直有效的话，我们可以一直续的，没有一个次数的限制。

同时 E-3 签证它还有一个好处，就是 E-3 的配偶是可以申请工作许可的，可以在美国自由地工作。

所以的话呢，如果你是有澳洲护照的话呢，我们建议客户认认真真地考虑一下这一条路。因为相对于 H-1B 的抽签压力来讲的话呢，E-3 签证它是允许你在美国工作，同时比较少有人走的、比较稳妥的一条道路。

Hello everyone, recently our law firm helped two Australian clients successfully obtain E-3 visas.

So today, through this video, we’d like to take the opportunity to remind you: if you hold an Australian passport, you may want to consider the E-3 visa, because it is a U.S. benefit specifically offered to Australian passport holders.

The E-3 visa is actually very similar to the H-1B visa. It allows you to work in the United States, but there is one requirement: you must submit your Australian passport to the immigration authorities to prove that you are an Australian citizen. That’s all that’s needed.

As for the application requirements, they’re also very similar to the H-1B. You’ll need to first obtain a job offer from a U.S. employer. Second, you need to show that the position meets the criteria for a specialty occupation, which means it requires a specific field of expertise. At the same time, your academic background must match the job. It’s essentially a version of the H-1B. The only difference is that you must have an Australian passport.

The E-3 visa is granted for two years at a time. If your job remains valid, you can continue renewing it indefinitely. There’s no cap on the number of renewals.

Also, the E-3 visa has another benefit: the spouse of an E-3 visa holder is eligible to apply for a work permit and work freely in the United States.

So, if you hold an Australian passport, we highly encourage you to seriously consider this visa path. Compared to the H-1B’s lottery pressure, the E-3 visa allows you to work in the U.S. and is a less commonly used route that is more stable and secure.
