H-1B忙季，是什么感觉？

曾律师最近压力大不大？

最近压力有点大，因为4-6月就是忙季。忙季来的时候，案子多的时候，压力就会很大。

我看你总是在夜里两三点给我们同事发信息，问案子的情况。

首先我没有打搅大家，我都是发他们工作号。有的时候我就会两三点的时候突然想起这个事情，就会用手机看一下案件管理系统，看看这个案子什么情况，那个案子什么情况，到哪里了。如果我不清楚状况的话，我就会给他们工作手机发信息。当然工作手机在律所，所以他们会9点半到单位的时候会看到我的第一个信息。

但是我肯定会希望他能够在5月底或者6月交。所以有没有什么阻碍案子递交的？有没有什么我要帮助的地方？有什么难的点？我可能都要再想一想的。

那这么忙碌的情况下，你是怎么做好时间管理的？

现在咱们就在时间管理。你看我今天，在见客户的路上来拍摄视频了，就是碎片化管理时间。比如说这个事情可以在路上做，我就路上做了。比如说我们今天拍视频，我们今天已经拍了5个视频了。

那你每天肯定会有很多突发情况，如果遇到什么困难的话，是如何调节的呢？

其实摄影师是我们移民团队的成员，我今天早上就跟他有一个突发的案件的一个情况。然后就是如果遇到一个困难，我们俩就要想办法去解决，看看怎么去处理。

然后心态就是要相信这个疑难的法律问题肯定能解决。然后我们就要静下心来，想各种的思路了。

我其实特别喜欢尝试各种美食，我觉得我的爱好就是这个。还有就是我觉得如果真的你有很多的疑难的东西，或者你有困难的时候，你不要把它抵累，你就及时解决，就想办法解决。

Is Attorney Zeng feeling a lot of pressure lately?

Lately the pressure has been a bit much, because April to June is our busy season. When the busy season hits and there are a lot of cases, the pressure gets intense.

I've noticed you’re often up at 2 or 3 a.m. sending messages to our team, asking about case updates.

First of all, I'm not disturbing anyone. I only message their work phones. Sometimes at two or three in the morning, something will suddenly come to mind, so I'll use my phone to check the case management system to see what's going on with this case or that case, and where things are. If I'm unsure about the status, I'll send a message to their work phone. Of course, the work phones are kept at the office, so when they arrive at 9:30 a.m., they'll see my first message of the day.

But I definitely hope we can submit the case by the end of May or in June. So is there anything delaying the filing of the case? Is there anything I can help with? Are there any difficult issues? I'm always thinking about those things.

In such a busy schedule, how do you manage your time effectively?

We're doing it right now. Look at me today — on my way to meet a client and I'm filming a video. It's all about fragmented time management. If something can be done while I'm on the go, I'll do it on the way. Like today we’re filming videos — we've already done five videos today.

And every day there are bound to be surprises. If a problem comes up, how do you deal with it?

Actually, the videographer is part of our immigration team. This morning I was with him, dealing with a sudden case situation. If we run into a problem, we have to find a way to solve it and figure out how to handle it.

And mentally we just tell ourselves that every complex legal problem can definitely be solved. Then we calm down and explore different strategies.

Personally, I really love trying all kinds of food — I think that's one of my hobbies. Also, if you’re truly facing a lot of tough issues or running into problems, you shouldn't bottle them up. Just deal with them as they come and find a way to fix them.
