为什么今年又多调了一位员工来做 H-1B 最后的审查工作？我们一直觉得，即使你所有东西都准备得很好，比如说案件资料齐全、内容无误，但是如果寄送地址写错了、支票开错了、或者少交了一张支票，那么这个案子可能就会前功尽弃。

其实我们一直都有一个最后检查的人员。今年因为案件量增加了，我们又多调了一位员工来协助做案件的审查。我们的检查流程实际上分为三个层次：

第一层是案件的主办人做初步检查；第二层是由我本人进行复查；第三层的检查人员是完全没有处理过这个案子的，他们从移民官的视角出发来看这个案件，对他们来说所有内容都是新的。

那你可以分享一下，最后检查员主要检查哪些内容吗？

最后检查人员其实不会对案件的法律细节做深入审查，因为前两层已经完成了这部分工作。他们主要负责的是一些大方向的核查，比如说：

寄送地址是否正确；

支票是否填写正确；

公司是25人以上还是25人以下，因为这决定了支票的金额和数量是否符合规定；

寄出之后，案件是否已经正确地录入我们律所的案件系统，系统中是否有同步更新；

是否有将与该案无关的材料误放进了递交文件中。

这些属于高层次的审核内容，都是由我们最后一道的审查人员来确保案件整体的准确性与完整性。

这个申请季，我们的团队真的非常辛苦，非常忙碌。我们也额外增加了人手来处理最后的审查工作。我真心希望我们今年的客户都能有好的结果，案子都能顺利获批。

Why did you assign one more staff member this year to handle the final H-1B review? We’ve always believed that even if everything else is done perfectly—case documents are complete and accurate—if the mailing address is wrong, or the check is written incorrectly, or if a check is missing, then the entire case could be invalidated.

That’s why we’ve always had a designated final reviewer. This year, due to the increased number of cases, we assigned an additional team member to help with final case review.

Our review process actually has three levels:

First, the primary handler of the case performs an initial review. Second, I conduct a full review myself. The third level reviewer is someone who hasn’t worked on the case at all. They review it entirely from the perspective of an immigration officer—everything in the file is new to them.

Can you share what exactly the final reviewer looks at?

The final reviewer doesn’t dive into the case-specific legal details, since those have already been addressed by the first two reviews. Instead, they focus on broader, structural issues, such as:

Whether the mailing address is correct;

Whether the checks are accurate;

Whether the company has more than or fewer than 25 employees, which affects the number and amount of checks;

Whether the case has been properly entered into our firm’s internal case management system after it was mailed out;

Whether any unrelated documents were mistakenly included in the submission.

This type of high-level review is what our final-stage reviewer is responsible for—to ensure the overall accuracy and completeness of each case.

Any final message for everyone?

This H-1B cap season, our team has worked extremely hard and has been incredibly busy. We’ve also added more staff to handle the final stage of review. I sincerely hope that all of our clients this year will have great results and that their cases will be approved smoothly.
